There are literally thousands of drink recipes.
A lot of them are slight variances of other drinks, like a Grasshopper is served in a martini glass, but put it in a high ball glass and it becomes a Girl Scout Cookie. A Kamikaze becomes a Windex when you use blue triple sec, even though they taste exactly the same. And an King Alfonzo becomes an Angel's Kiss when you garnish it with a cherry. Get it?
So, there can be dozens of variations of just one drink, and thus, its impossible to count all the cocktail recipes.

And a cocktail, by definition, is alcoholic.

i dont think you can count them, coz every country has some traditional cocktails that you can never find in any list, or u can invent one by yourself, so no one who will give you a number will be right. anyway i can say that most of them are alcoholic
