Would it be bad of me to have a vodka or 2 before i start work at 4 o clock?!

Question: The best advice I can give you is to make sure that it stays at just one drink or two. While just a drink or two puts you in a good mood and improves performance, if you aren't careful you will soon have had seven, eight, nine... drinks, and not only will it begin to affect your performance, but if you interact with other people at work they will be able to smell it on your breath, endangering your job.
One last piece of advice: between a bar-time pizza delivery job and a full-time insurance job, I've always found tequila to be the best on-the-job drink. Not only can you comfortably drink it straight without gagging if you just need a quick one, you can inject it into a lemon, lime, or grapefruit and drink right in front of your boss without he/she being any the wiser.

As long as its a high quality vodka, its A-OK!!!!! I love grey goose with grapefruit juice. Good way to get your vitamin c !

Ha ha, yes!

Well, depends. If you're a cheap drunk and one or two shots will knock you on your ****, I suggest you wait till your shift is over. But if you can take alcohol like tough shi?, go ahead!

Depends on what you do for work.

Heck no, have a few.Someone else will love to fill your job.

Bear in mind you will risk losing your job...some places have zero tolerance.

Bad, very bad. Don't do it, unless you want to get canned.
You'll be able to smell it on your breath. You can smell vodka on your breath too. I don't care what anyone says. You can. Trust me, I used to be married to an alcoholic. I always knew.

Its not bad at all to drink before work, Its only bad if you get caught

As long as you can still work without being silly about it, sure why not. It might make the day pass nicer.

4 am or 4 pm, wait, it doesn't matter, not that big of a deal if you are not drunk

Nope, not a good idea. Most places have a policy that prohibit drinking on the job, and drinking before work would constitute "drinking on the job" because you would still be technically "under the influence" of the alcohol. It's the same as smoking pot or smoking crack or injecting heroin before work - definitely a big NO-NO!
