I find Stella Artois gives me all the energy I need to beat my wife.

i know the answe rto this , due to many many nights out testing lagers.
unfortunatly the best drink for this isnt sold in many pubs or bars.
its singha lager sold in a fair few supermarkets now, a thai lager which tastes a lot like carling, however it isnt full of lots of chemicals and is just as nice, so the next morning all you will feel is dehydrated but this can be counter acted by drinking a pint of water before you go to bed. you certainly wont feel groggy drinking this at night as its quite light

Stella, enough of it makes me want to smack peoples heads in, never the wife though, odd that as people always refer to it as 'wife beater' i'd rather just punch some random strangers face in than the wifes.

i'm a big fan of the asian beers ( chinese and indian ) they seem to be more crisp clean and refreshing , tsing tso is one of my fav's , but thy are hard to find , tiger and cobra are also good mmmmm, also sol is nice with a slice of lime , also for refreshment magners cider with loads of ice is gr8 xxx
I don't like lager at all so wouldn't recommend any, what I would recommend though is vodka and red bull, or magners cider in a pint glass with ice.
Alcohol period can make you feel groggy.... But, the best lager I've had is a Sam Adams Boston Lager. It's the only way to drink a domestic
