No maggots are bugs.

NO, rice do not turn into magots, magots come from fly eggs, not rice. Rice is a food, not a fly egg.

Only on acid.

Its " does rice turn into maggots if left"

omg. what a stupid question. how old are you?

no

no they not magets.who told this.?

For some reason, there's some popular confusion as to what exactly maggots are. I used to work in a meat department of a supermarket, and a coworker once asked me if I knew what maggots were. He was thinking they were giant bacteria.

Really, they are baby flies. Flies lay their eggs on meat and the eggs hatch and maggots come out. They eat and grow and pupate, like butterflies, then come out of their pupas and fly away.
