Drinking Limit?!

Question:

Drinking Limit?

How many drinks do the Government say you're allowed before you're overdoing it. and is it enough to get you drunk?

Answers:
2 units a day

I know it used to be 14 units for a woman per week and 21 units for a man. They may have altered it slightly though. Your weight, health and gender makes a big difference to consumption.

I think it should depend on the tolerance someone has

Look at the nightrider dude he he he!..........

I don't think the question is how many or how much you can drink, it's what is you're blood alcohol level at the time. If you consume an amount that you liver can process and keep up with, you're good. I've heard one drink an hour can be processed through the liver. That would be one beer 12 ounces or one ounce of hard liquor. So if you drink one an hour and wait an hour to drive you should be good. About the telling the judge it is your right to drink and drive. Naaaa, never happened, it isn't a "God given right" it is something that is illegal and infringes on the right of other people to exist in a normal mode. The law is the law. If it was that easy, "What is your plea?" "It is my right to drink and drive" "Oh ok; dismissed" please.

The rules are their are no rules Drink Up.

2 barrels a day

hic

cheers

this stalinist blair government should be ignored, a healthy young person can drink 50 units a week , to get drunk 25 vodka's should do it , when i was younger i could handle 40.

the governments guidelines are 3-4 units for men and 2-3 for women per day in reality this 2 double 40% spirit for men and one doube and one single (regardless of mixer) per day so no not enough to get you drunk

and james M u need to check ur info, a healthy liver processes one unit an hour i.e. half a pint of 4% beer or one 25ml shot
