Would this be a good punch for my Halloween Party?!
Answers: I want to serve punch at my Halloween party, and I would like it to have a little bit of spice to it. So I was thinking: Bacardi Silver Rum, Captain Morgan Rum (for the spice), Blue Curacao (because I have a bottle sitting around and I want to get rid of it) mixed with fruit punch and Sprite. How does that sound? Also if you have any other ideas please feel free to tell me. Thanks! :o)
Mm, spiced rum - my favourite.
I'm not a big fan of blue curacao and spiced rum mixed together - the spiced rum always seems to overwhelm the curacao, and you lose that beautiful blue colour. Spiced rum tastes fantastic - but not with everything. I can tell you from my own experience that it tastes pretty vile with fruit punch.
If it's for a halloween party, you can always serve spiced rum with apple cider - that always tastes great, and it's pretty in-season. Spiced rum's also good with root beer, coca cola or pepsi, not just clear soda drinks. It's also pretty good with pineapple juice, seven-up or similar pop, and a little coconut rum. If you want something a little more autumn-themed, try some iced tea - peach flavour is really good with spiced rum.
I'd try it.
I also would try it, multiple times until I was drunk!
Sounds good...might want to add SOME TEQUILA for the pirates that might show up...like me!!
That sounds really good! I made a punch recently that was similar to that only I also added rainbow sherbet. It was really tasty! Hope your party is a success :)
that sounds good to me! I LOVE Apple Puckers and Vault soda mixed it is amazing too!
Not sure about the blue curacao. Here is a ideas for a cold Cider punch. 6oz club soda 1oz triple sec 2 oz brandy 16oz apple cider.
hot punch
6 cups of apple juice 1 1/2 cup apricot brandy 3 cinnamon sticks 1/2 ground cloves
simmer all ingredients over low heat for 30 min.
Fill a rubber glove with water or punch and freeze. Remove the glove and float the icy hand in your Halloween punch.
My secret punch recipe is a bottle of vodka, and some red food coloring.... It's good.
