If I drank sangria, 4 coors lights, 2 rum and cokes and 3 coronas, in that order, what made me SO sick?!?!

Question: I drank a vat of Sangria first, with an old buddy, then four Coors Lights cans (16 oz.), then we walked to bar, had two rum and cokes and then three Corona longnecks.

I have never felt so sick in all my life. I only slept from 3am to about 7am, shivering, shaking, clammy with a massive headache that lasted throughout the day. Water and aspirin did nothing, in fact, I couldn't hold it down. I threw up many times, and struggling through breakfast at 10am was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I am wondering what it was I did so wrong? Was all that such a "nasty" mix for a Friday night out with an old friend? I can normally hold my alcohol but I have never felt so crappy in my entire life. Was it the mix of drinks? The order in which I drank them?

You mixed your drinks.
You likely got Alcohol Poison.

Advice, if you drink again.
-Drink the hard liquor drinks first or don't drink the hard stuff at all
-Space your drinks
-Drink water in between each drink you have
-Eat some bread through out the night

After a Night of Drinking
-Eat something like a greasy hamburger
-Take 2-3 Ibuprofen, before you go to bed
-Drink coffee
-If you can stomach It, drink a Bloody Mary
-Drink lots of Gatorade the next day ( I swear by this, it's my "hang over" drink of choice.

Best to be very careful when drinking. Or don't drink again. People have died because of Alcohol Poison.
If you choose to drink again, be smart, stay safe and never drink and drive.

All that crap would make the devil himself sick, don't you realize that?

i would say you mixed the different alcohols, so that probably played a big part, but i remember getting really sick like that drinking wine. havn't touched the stuff since.

probably the sangria and the coke in the rum. if you going to drink beer, stick to shots and dont drink wine.

warning: do not mix types of alcohol or the result is what you experienced

What made you sick was drinking 9 drinks at one time.

Also, Aspirin is not to be taken when drinking - that may have made you sick too. Stick to ibuprofen. Thats the sh*t!

9 drinks + aspirin would have me feeling the same way, and I'm an experienced alcoholic!

Drink some gatoraid and make sure to drink plenty of water, WHILE drinking alcohol.

Pace yo self fool!

Probably the sangria or the rum & coke. Seems that sugar plays a big part in how sick you get. Stick to beer or wine or spirits but not together. You'll feel better in the morning.

I also recommend taking an asprin (not Tylonol) and a multivitamin before going to bed after a drunkfest. You should also probably eat a banana. Asprin is an anti-inflammation type of thing that will ease alot of aches and pains. The vitamin will be needed to replace lost vitamins and the banana will replace the lost potassium.

The serious drinker should also keep some charcoal tablets on hand. Take one with water and it'll aborb the crap that's in your stomach.

Hope you feel better.

HELLO u were drunk. if i drank all that crap 2 i would be puking all night.

First of all, mixing all of that alcohol, is not good. How much is a "vat" of Sangria, which is red wine.
then beer
then rum
then more beer.....
Do you know that you're less likely to ever suffer a hangover if you only drink straight liquor, no chasers, no mixing.....nothing added !
OMG, then you added aspirin, I see why that didn't sit well on your stomach.
First of all, if you want to drink wine, stay with wine, never mix wine and other drinks together. That was your first mistake.
Wine and beer and liquor together, yuck......When I was bar-tending at an upscale hotel, I learned some interesting facts: do you know that in England, you can't buy things lie a "long island tea" or a "zombie", and you know why? This is what they'll tell you - "if you want to get drunk, why not just buy a bottle and go to your room and drink it". They consider themselves to be "mixologists", and they are proud of what they have learned about making drinks.....

Sounds like a case of alcohol poisoning, (over-abundance of alcohol), and that your liver just couldn't continue to process your intake.

it's called a hangover and/or alcohol poisoning

you were very very dehydrated, how much water did you drink during your binge drinking? your liver can only process one drink an hour, one drink as in one beer, one shot, one 5 ounce glass of wine.

you're really surprised you felt bad in the morning, seriously?

all of the above. Glad you're still alive...

This was caused by the acidity of the Sangria. The citrus juice in there combined with the tanic acid of the wine in there.

Then you drank beer which might be ok.

THEN you had sugar! (in the coke).

Anything like citrus juice with high acidity mixed with sugar and various alcohols will make you very sick.

You could try some anti hangover pills. I understand that they do work(?) I have not tried.

Also, you could just try not drinking or drinking less.

It is a combination of the mix of drinks and the order in which you drank them. remember.

beer before liquor, never been sicker,
liquor before beer, you're in the clear.

That doesn't mean that you should mix them, but if you do, drink in that order.

BEER AND LIQUOR DO NOT MIX

Always remember
liquor b4 beer - never fear
beer b4 liquor -gets you sicker
at least thats how I remember it

You made you so sick.
