Answers:
A friend of mine took over a convenience store and there were hundreds of packs left from before that were 3 years old. We smoked them and you really couldnt tell except the menthols lost their minty flavor. Other than that they were fine....they did burn a little faster i guess becasue they were dry but hey they smoked and they werent 5 bux a pack!

keep them in the firdge...they will last longer

Unless they get dried out, there good

about 3 weeks, both opened and unopened, although, my granmom smoked alot, and she left a pack of ciggeresttes opened when she died, my mother put the pack away in the drawer and I smoked them after 5 years and they were good, sooo they were camels, soo take it from there, but my sister told me it takes 3 weeks, but heres a hint when you get to the bottome of carton, and they taste sour the tar, then put in refrig, this prevents the ciggerettes for going bad, an old wives tail

I chuckle about this one... in the 60s the Army provided cigarettes in the C rations & these cigarettes had been packaged in the early 40s. They did, however taste a mite stale & strong... but that may have been because they had no filter. Generally cigarettes will keep forever if not exposed to air... they tend to dry out if not packaged properly. Again, I suspect it depends upon how badly one wants a cigarette. I smoked some really bad tobacco when in the Army... but was glad to get it.

well they dry out and the smoke is harsher on the throat and all but if you keep them in the fridge they will stay fresher longer
but i say they'd stay fresh for a couple of days opened and a couple of weeks unopened

About a month.
