No, but if you peel it, wrap it in aluminium foil then put it in the freezer it does not turn black and makes a great frozen snack!

No - unless you like frozen icy banana - banana has mostly water content by freezing it, it just becomes to icy to eat. Also when you thaw it, it gets all black and brown and too pleasant to eat.
