I want to start a fine wine collection, any advice?!

Question:

I want to start a fine wine collection, any advice?

Tell me what brands, from what country, the price, best places to find them. When is the best time to sell the wine after they aged?Any specific temperature or place to store the wines.

Answers:
It all depends on your taste and budget.
There are great wines from the US, Chile, Argentina, South Africa, Australia as well as western Europe.
Write down the name of the bottle and comments to build up knowledge and so next time you go to the store you will remember, because there are thousands on the market. The best wines are the ones you and your friends enjoy, it does not have to be famous or expensive. Make sure they complement the food you prepare. It is a great hobby, cheers!

Don't try to lay down white wines, they don't keep. Red wines work perfectly. Look for some good burgundies. French wines tend to be good, but some of the new world wines are coming through quite strongly.

Lots of good advice out there, such as Johnson's Pocket Wine Book (updated annually)... some wines need aging (like better Chianti's), other grapes don't shelf a long time.
They do need cool (50oF +/1) and dark storage. The number of years depends on the year and the grape.

you should really start with the wine that you like to drink. then go to wine tastings and read up more on the different kinds of wines..

Be RICH!
