Aldi or Lidl ?!
Answers: which is better for bargains ??
I dont know Aldi I've never been there, but we've got Lidl round the corner from us and we get great bargains there. Absolutely fantastic.
I've read Aldi
lidl
They are both as good as each other, I prefer Lidl personally as they have more of everything, although some things are better from aldi.
lidl
Lidl. but there is not much difference as they are owned by members of the same family.
well i find lidl has a more varied selection, and there non food products are brill too, seen some unusual stuff in there, great for presents and xmas.
I shop in both of them. Aldi has better quality but Lidl is a bit cheaper but quality not as good as Aldi.
Lidl is cheaper but Aldi have a better selection.
Try NETTO.
I shop in lidl, but aldi is better for frozen foods i think
Little difference. In fact you will find that they tend to match each other in price. E.g. UHT skimmed milk went up from 38p to 44p in both chains almost on the same day. Price fixing?
Both are good but not usually for beer which is often cheaper in Asda, Tesco and on occasion, even Sainsbury's.
The Co-op often has very good drink bargains.
As you can see from the other answers, there's nothing to choose between them.
In both chains the more amazing value items of the non-grocery items change frequently so if you see a gadget that you'd like then you should buy it then and there or it'll be gone next time you go back.
Lidl and the quality is ok for the price
Aldi, it's slightly more upmarket than Lidl!
I do part of my weekly shopping at Lidl, but recently I visited a city that has an Aldi. I can't say that it was cheaper, but it look a bit (just a bit) more upmarket than Lidl (hardly a challenge, lol), but I don't think I'll take the trouble to go back again.
Lidl
