Barman? how long?!
Answers: hi everybody, if i want to study for be a barman, how long is ti?, and.. i just want study something very very short (about months, 3 or 4) for pays my other studyes, so.. i think that barman is ok,so.. what is the shortest time possible for study that?
At the Seattle Bartending College the courses are only two weeks long. But having bartended myself, to get the kind of jobs you want to pay the rent and actually have money to play with it takes years of experience.
Just start off in a small bar. You will learn more by actually working with people and remember how to make drinks if you are actually making them every night, also, on slow nights you can practice drinks and study different drinks, then go to a bigger bar with the experience you have. That's what lots of owners and managers are looking for, is experience and good customer service, also if you have the personality for it, you can always sell yourself to future employers with the clientele that you will be bringing with you.
There is a school in CT and NY state that has a one week course. It's a 9 - 5 course but if you want to get started fast, I'd say go for something like that. You just have to look around till you find one.
