Liquor before beer your in the clear, beer before liquor you get drunk quicker....true?!

Question: is it true that if you drink beer before liquor that you get drunk quicker...and vise versa??

Answers: is it true that if you drink beer before liquor that you get drunk quicker...and vise versa??

This rule is not true. The reason that it seems to be true is because if you drink beer first and have a little buzz, the hard booze goes down a little easier and you will probably end up consuming more over the course of the night. Beer takes longer to consumer the same amount of alcohol.

No. It's "beer before liquor, never been SICKER". Liquor before beer, you're in the clear-- meaning you won't get sick.
And yes, it generally appears to be true from what i've seen. Especially if the liquor is shots, and you drink them after drinking a bunch of beer. Then you're screwed.

I thought it was liquor before beer- you're in the clear. Beer before liquor- you'll never be sicker.

It's not true either way. the only reason you want to avoid "mixing", i.e. drinking liquor then beer then liquor, or anything like that is after a while you get drunk and can't think straight enough to realize you're going to puke soon. :)

no,.....booze is booze,.....drink a beer, or drink a drink it is all the same,.....you get enough alcohol in you in a certain amount of time you will be drunk,.....
