Why do some drinks (vodka, whiskey for example) cause anger?!

Question: Man, I can drink beer all night long, but if I have a shot of vodka or whiskey, I get angry and mean.

What causes this common reaction to certain harder drinks?

It's not the actual vodka or whisky, it's your reaction to those substances. I can drink beer, wine, or even cognac without incident, but let me have one too many shots of tequila and I'm looking for brawl.

it's all about the person. each and every person will react differently. anything i drink i get happy! some get mad, some horny, etc.

This has to do with your blood sugar level. Beer and wine do not drop your blood sugar so rapidly, Liquor on the other hand is concentrated therefore, drops you blood sugar level rapidly. If a diabetic is on the verge of a seizer the become belligerent and irrational. Same effect...

i think if your angry it means you've hadn't had enough shots, if you find yourself angry keep drinking shots

Alcohol disinhibits people...they become impulsive with their emotions and behavior. They have a strong underlying anger streak to begin with...the self restraint, insight, and common sense all go out the door and that is what is the dominate feeling. If they are insecure they are more likely to jump to inappropriate conclusions thinking someone has "wronged them". IF words are said...they are not able to back down.

The hard liquior is alcohol in a more concentrated dose...so it just hits the brain harder and quicker.

That is my best answer!

It's just the way your body reacts to it.I'm the same.

sculls half a bottle of vodka ...walks out side...see a bloke looking at him smiling ....."HEY WUT THE HECK ARE U LOOKING AT"
..... who says vodka causes anger ; )

They don't
