I would like to know which is better to pay in a club or in a bar; credit card or cash money.How much should i tip for a bottle of beer, a glass of whiskey or cocktail? Thank you.

Coming from a bartender of many years, cash is better if you're standing at a bar in a busy nightclub. That way I don't have to walk away from the 18 other people standing there waiting for a drink and go find your credit card and tab. With that said when sitting at a table in lets say a sports bar, credit cards are so much easier. That way I don't have to keep running back and forth getting change everytime you order a drink. It just depends on the venue. As far as tipping goes, you should always tip at least a dollar a drink. Let me stress AT LEAST. If someones giving me two dollars a drink, I promise you I'm not letting that drink go empty. Good Luck to you!!
Credit card is easier, they can run a tab, you can put the tip on your bill, but if you really like the servers, give them cash. They will appreciate it.
It is better AND easier for the waitors/waitresses to pay with credit card. For every drink that is brought to me, I pay 1 dollar. Make sure you fold it so it is a really smooth transition.
ABSOLUTELY CASH. A TAB MAY BE EASIER TO ORDER WITH BUT IT'S ALSO EASIER TO LOSE CONTROL OF (ESPECIALLY AFTER A FEW DRINKS) IT REALLY SUCKS TO HAVE A GREAT TIME AND END THE EVENING WITH AN $87 TAB THAT YOU LET GET AWAY WITH YOU.
LIKEWISE IT SUCKS TO LOSE A WAD OF CASH BUT GOING THROUGH THE IRRITATION OF CANCELING A CREDIT CARD IS HORRIBLE.
AS FOR TIPPING- 50 CENTS IS GOOD PER DRINK- IF YOUR SERVER IS ON POINT AND GETS TO YOU QUICKLY OR YOU ORDER COMPLICATED DRINKS (I.E. MORE THAN 2 INGREDIANTS) THAN $1 IS MORE APPROPRIATE. ALSO- IF YOU TIP BETTER EARLY- YOUR SERVICE WILL BE BETTER WHEN THE CROWD PICKS UP. BARTENDERS FOLLOW THE CASH.
Well I have always believed if it is edible or drinkable then use cash. Why pay interest and others fees on something that once consumed is gone. As far as tip depends if you are going to tip on every drink. Leave the loose change if youo are if not tip at the end of the night. Just for clarification if I am taking several people out then I use pplastic do not want to carry a lot of cash when I am out clubbing.
If you want fast service in a crowded bar/club, I would use cash. But if you want to rack up a tab, then I would use the credit card, with very slow servuce at the end of the night [because everyone is trying to close their tabs]. Its recommended to tip $1 per drink.

Use cash! It's easier for the bartender and you. Always tip AT LEAST a dollar per drink. Like if your beer is $2.75--give them $1.25. Ignore the dude who said to tip 50 cents! If you came into my work and tipped me 50 cents for a mixed drink, you would be hard pressed to get another drink when I had other customers who weren't so cheap! If you want good service, you gotta tip big!
