Has anyone ever drank Hand Sanitizer?
I heard that a shot of hand sanitizer is equivolent to like 9 shots of alcohol. But I'm not sure if its true. But isn't it like really dangerous to drink? I want to let my friends know its a bad idea, but I need to get my facts straight.

Oh helllllll no! I read an article in NYTimes the other day saying how hand sanitizer might actually be dangerous, since people put it on their hands right before they eat; it's not safe for ingestion and the NYT was worrying about the tiny little trace of transfer that'd come from licking your sanitized fingers!
Please don't drink that stuff. And I think it's only about 40% alcohol anyway, which is less than whiskey or rum. Plus it might not be one of the consumable alcohols anyway.
Please stick to the legit stuff if you're gonna drink!
Not a good idea. Can't be good for you. And the 9 shots are unsafe and dangerous as well. Look up alcohol poisoning on the web and read them the definition.
it is rubbing alcohol. it wasn't intended for drinking. if you want a cheap buzz just get some bottom shelf vodka for a few dollars. Yuck.

well I think it woould probably make you throw up but get drunk no. There really isn't much alcohol in it at least not the ones i have seen.If you drink enough water you can get that drunk feeling too.

umm I do hope you know that if you were to drink hand sanitizer, you would probably die. There are 3 different types of alcohol and only one of them (found in ONLY alcoholic beverages) are edible. the others are beyond dangerous for your body.
I have seen the effects of alcoholism. Over the years I have seen men drink white shoe polish, vanilla and lemon extract mixed in coke, alcohol squeezed from a can of sterno, bayrum hair tonic, and currently, I know a man who consummes listerine daily. Hand Sanitizer? Nope.

Think about it for a second. Hand sanitizer...it's used for killing germs on your hands. Ok, say it again...*KILLING* germs. Killing...now let's consider ingesting something used for Killing.

yes you can get drunk from hand sanitizer.People who are saying no most likely have not read stories about it.And yes its really dangerous to drink.
