Is it true that drinking alcohol like Margarita's nightly make you gain weight?!

Question: Yes, they don't call it a beer belly for nothing.
Drink in moderation, some of those drinks have 100s of calories in them. A typical margarita itself is an extra 250 calories on top of whatever you have had during the day. That's more than a turkey sandwich.
Google alcohol calories. You will be very surprised.

Alcohol is just FULL of calories as are the mixers.

Alcohol has a high calorie content. Margaritas also have juice in them, which boosts the calorie content even more.

If you want to lose weight, stop drinking. If you want lower calorie drinks, try white or red wine.

alcohol is basically empty calories, then when you add any kind of mix, like Margarita, you add more calories. Plus when you're drinking your inhibitions go way down and you're more likely to overeat without even realizing it. It's a total double whammy

If you're going to drink them in excess or even more than one then most likely, yes. Margaritas especially are loaded with sugar and, therefore, calories so unless that's all you're having for dinner you're more than likely taking in more than you're burning and gaining weight.

Yes, your body converts alcohol into sugar in order to process it. And Margarita mix is also full of sugar.

it depends on your body and how it processing food if your more likely to gain wait from certain types of food and drinks then i would say yes. I just recently started watching what I'm eating and when I saw how many calories were in one ounce of tequila (64) i thought twice about my nightly margaritas

Only if you continue to eat the same calories you eat now.

Get the same amount of calories as you burn and no weight gain. So if you eat sensibly and count your Margarita calories you will be just fine.

Cocktails are full of calories if you have to drink them opt for a bloody mary or one 4 oz glass of wine but no more than 3 a week.

Just take shots ;)

yes u get a big fat ugly beer belly thats hard to get rid of

yep, most alcoholic drinks are very high in calories, and mixed drinks contain a lot of sugar, too.
