What is a "2 6" ?!

Question:

What is a "2 6" ?

When people are talking about alcohol

Answers:
A "2 6", "twenty sixer" or "twixer" is a 26oz bottle of booze in Canada, based on the old Imperial measure of 26 fluid ounces as the standard size for a bottle of vodka, rye, rum etc.

The 'new' metric equivalent is 750ml.

Other size references would be "40 pounder" for a 40oz bottle and "mickey" for a 13oz bottle.
