Are there any health benefits to alcohol consumption at all?!

Question:

Are there any health benefits to alcohol consumption at all?

I've heard about the one glass of wine if you're over a certain age, btu I'm talking vodka, gin, etc. Is alcohol just another cigarette if you will?

Answers:
1 glass of red wine has more vitamins in than an apple, also Guiness stout is the only beer as its contents is high in iron., as far as I know thats it and if you drink too much wine it kills the vitamins anyway and Guiness puts on weight. Everything has its downfalls most things in moderation is OK.

All alcohol thins the blood, thus resulting in greater blood flow. That is a good thing.Cigarettes have no redeeming benefits.

Yes, and here is why:

All alcohol sold in the US has naturally occuring salicylates (aspirin)...so one glass of wine, beer, vodka is the same as taking one aspirin.

Of course, over-indulging will negate the benefits of your consumption.

Drinking actually causes your brain to tell you that you are hungry. If you have a weight problem, you'll definately gain weight if you drink - if not from the calories in the alcohol, then from the calories from the extra food you consume after drinking.

it helps with blood flow and will give u some vitamins u need
