I don't think you can purchase an imitation one.One of the reasons Cristal is so good and different is because of how the bottle is made. It was first made in 1876 for Alexander II of Russia in a clear bottle because he was afraid of assassins concealing weapons in regular opaque bottles or to see if it had poison added to it.The reason it is unique is the thick flat glass base.It makes the fermentation process different.Thus giving a one of a kind Champagne.The use of the finest Pinot noir and Chardonnay grapes also play a big role.Anyway back to you getting a bottle, I would check with the nicer restaurants or clubs in your area and see if they would give you an empty one then go to your local craft store and get some gold/yellow cellophane and recover it like it was new.You can fill it with whatever you like and use an old champagne cork to re-cork it also. I highly doubt you can buy an imitation bottle of champagne but you can buy this empty bottle and fill it yourself and it would do just fine.
