I am making pork loin with a tart cherry glaze tonight...What kind of cocktail would be complimentary?!

Question: No wine suggestions please.

Answers: No wine suggestions please.

pomegranate martini, apple martini, bellini, blue moon beer with orange slice garnish, cosmopolitan, southern comfort oldfashioned, rob roy, perfect manhattan. enjoy !

Okay, I'm not a huge hard liquor drinker but I'm thinking you either want something sweet to offset the tart or something bitter. You can serve nice micro-brewed beers with a nice meal and not have it appear trashy. I think a bitter pale-ale would be good. An excellent pale ale is Sierra Nevada. For a coctail you could always go with the Cosmo or a Grapfruit drink......Oh wait....Oprah and Rachel Ray were drinking Lemondrop Martini's one day. It was Fresh lemon juice, Vodka, and was sweetened to taste with simple syrup (Dissolve sugar in warm water, mix very well and stick in the fridge to chill it.) Run a lemon over the rim of the glass and dip in sugar. Have fun at dinner!

I would serve a Pinot Noir. Other options would include... a Belgian ale, lemon drops, or maybe a mint julep or mohido(sp?)

MmmmMMMmmm... a Manhattan. It will compliment the cherry glaze very nicely.

I don't know about the drink but i want the recipe for the meal!!!

Something light and dry yet sweet, a really good choice is a Japanese Plum Wine.
