What is the world's best beer?!

Question:

What is the world's best beer?

What, in your opinion, is the world’s best beer? I'm talking about world here, if you say Bud Light or Miller Light you are immediately disqualified. Name your favorite beer and a brief description of your first encounter with this beer and a description of the taste. I will leave the question open and the beer with the most votes wins.

Shiner Bock is my favorite....

I like Rolling Rock. My ex husband brought home a case once and i tryed it and liked it. Its not bitter and it goes down smooth.

Bud Light

They are all poisonous.

I love Bass. I will go out of my way to find a pub that serves a good pint of it - so refreshing with that odd sulphur aftertaste (it comes from the high Magnesium Sulphate content in the limestone surrounding Burton). But my first recollections of it are a little hazy...

I've had some good Belgian ones, but I can't really remember the names. So I'll go with a local favorite: Stone Arrogant Bastard Ale. Tastes very bitter and a little cooked/smokey. Great with sausage and good cheese--and perhaps a televised sporting event.

Michelob Ultra: its #1 in taste, low in cals and carbs, served in most cities.

I'll have a Vic thanks mate.......Victorian Bitter Land of Oz

I really like Stella Artois or Blue Moon... both are Belgian.

I'll have to go with Dogfish Head 90 minute IPA. Its a well-balanced IIPA with a nice floral/citrusy aroma from the hops.

There is no such thing as the perfect beer-after four beers no-one can tell the difference anyway, but in south africa everyone drinks black lable or better known as carling-we call it zamalek

My choice is St. Pauli Girl Dark. I've always liked dark beer and first tried it when I spend a summer in Germany when I was 13. Second would be Guiness. You haven't lived until you have tried Guiness.

Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss. I will go for a 45 minute drive for a couple of 6 packs of this one.

MGD Tastes GOOOOD!!!!!MMMMMM

colt 45

New Castle Brown. Give it a try sometime - brewed in England. Absolutely terrific. Had it on tap in Barcelona - a little bit of a darker beer but extremely smooth and rich taste.

natty light

Steel reserve 211

I cant stop drinking Foster's lager. My favorite beer really depends on the mood I'm in. I cannot recollect my first experience with Foster's. I bought a 12-pk of Foster's on sale during the last Super Bowl and havent stop buying it since.

Franziskaner Hefe-Weisse Hell or Becks depending on my mood

WOODCHUCK Draft Cider Beer, brewed in Vermont, USA! I'm in mi, and the first time I tried it I was in fl so I know you can get it all over the place. When I first moved to fl my neighbor brought a six pack over to welcome us to the neighbor hood and I've been hoked maybe it was because it made the move easier, making friends right away or I just love the taste. when we moved here I had to beg the corner store to carry it so I wouldn't have to drive to far to get it. It tastes like beer but with a hint of apple but not too sweet, I don't know what did it, b4 this I drank bud not ANY more 10 years later that's all I drink!!!!!!!!!!!

Guiness Stout
