Answers:
Red Wine definitely increases the level of good cholesterol that is why a good amount has always been known as good for the heart too. I have read this facts just recently and let me share you the link so u can continue reading.

a little alchohol once a week is good for you, but dont risk getting addicted. I would say it doesnt matter which kind you use.

any alcohol in small amounts can be good for you, but from what i hear red wine is best

alcohol isn't something to have to much of. Beer is all calories and too much alcohol can actually cause you to gain weight and become addicted as well.

There have been studies to show that red wine in moderation can assist in preventing heart disease. The problem with alcohol is that many people don't realize that use in moderation is about 2-3 glasses of wine a week not 6-8 beers a day. Check the Journal articales that are open to the public on the AMA website and you can find those studies.

moderation is the key a glass or two of a red wine is good for you

a little good
i like white wine
the wine RELAX is great!!

Red wine contains the same tannins (antioxidants) that are present in a good cup of tea. So yes, a glass or two of red a day is good for u. I'm not sure about HDL, but I'm no doctor, so check that out with the professionals. But I DO love red wine. Incidentally, eating dark chocolate has the same effect as red wine, antioxidant wise.
If wine wasn't good for u, then why would Christ have turned water into wine? And why would Paul have told Timothy to drink a little wine for his stomach problems?
Everything in moderation though, don't forget, lol.
