I'm still tryen to find out if it's ok to make whiskey for yourself?!

Question: Not unless you live in Peru......no, really, it's against the law. I don't think you'd like it much anyway. I tasted moonshine once and it was so horrible. It knocked my socks off though.

depends on which state or more specifically what county you live in. If you are making a small batch and do not try to sell it you should be fine.

yes but there is a limit on how much you are alowed to make and it may vary state to state so look it up in your local codes.

No, sorry! It's against U.S. Federal law to distill alcohol.
You can make gallons and gallons of beer and wine, but not distilled spirits. It also will cost lotsa dollars for the equpment!
.

It is 100% illegal in the US.

You can, however, make your own beer, wine, mead & sake though. Just nothing that requires distillation. (ie spirits, hard liquor)

Good luck - if you are thirsty you'll be happy to drink it in two years' time.
Isn't that much more convenient to stop by your local liquor corner shop?

It's ok but you might wind up in the Slam.
