Somebody PLEASE know this?

I went to the restaurant Pappasitos here in Arlington the other day and I ordered a mudslide. It was absolutely delicious!! I looked it up and made one myself and it didn't come out the same. Does anyone know how they make it there at the restaurant?


Answers:
It could just be a simple difference in the alcohol or ice cream mix used if it was frozen. It probably had
1 1/2 oz Kahlua
1 1/2 oz vanilla vodka (I'd suggest Stoli)
1/2 half and half (or heavy cream)
two scoops of ice cream (if it was on the rocks just shake with the heavy cream suggested before and skip the ice cream)
line glass with chocolate sauce and pour blended mixture in. Top with whip cream and cherry if you must. Many restaurants use an OASIS mixing machine...like Red Lobster for example (that is where I bar tend;) anyway the machine pours out the exact amount of ice you need and the mixes are sent to us specially. This might be the reason why your drink didn't come out perfect. I gave you the instructions to make it as good as possible. Good Luck to you and happy Drinking!

if you go up to the bar and order one you should be able to watch them mix it up and get a general idea of what they put in it. or ask the bartender really nicely how it is made.

try this... 2 shots vodka, 1 kahlua. 1 baileys, cream, dark coco, splash of chocolate, rim the glass and blend
