They sell these things for making tea with loose tea leaves...they look like little round metal strainers but they open up so you can put the leaves in. Here's a picture of one:

Some come with a handle, others are balls like that. Doesn't really matter. But I'm sure if you ground up the marijuana with a grinder or sharp pair of manicure scissors and put it in a strainer like that into boiling water, it'd make some nice marijuana tea.
Other than tea, I can't really think of any good recipes that don't use a lot of marijuana. Brownies and cakes take a lot, I've heard of people using a quater to half O for a batch. For tea, you don't need much, I'd say a gram would suffice, maybe even less.
Also, when grinding the weed up I'd suggest using scissors or a good quality sharp grinder. Scissors are best - just buy one of those manicure scissors they sell at drug stores and snip the weed up in a glass shot glass. This is the best method because you minimize the loss of the THC containing crystals in the good quality nugs.
Put the leaves in a coffee grinder and use a drip coffee machine. That's how we would make herbal tea.
