Another Wine question, for you experts out there, help me out?!

Question:

Another Wine question, for you experts out there, help me out?

I am taking a few different advices on how to sweeten my very bitter wine. In case you want to know what kind it is, it is called "Cardinal Zin". From the coast here in California, SLO county ("Wine Country"). I am thinking about slicing up peaches and putting the slices (with or without skin?) in the bottle and letting them sit for as long as until I drink the wine. Sound good or bad? Any better ideas?

Answers:
Try making a spritzer, I wouldn't alter the wine with just fruit, it may not taste so good or make a difference. Just poor 1/2 glass of the wine, and half of a spumante sparkling wine (it's sweet)

Or make sangria:
you can find good recipes on foodtv.com. I like Michael Chiarello's using champagne. That Zinfandel would make a good sangria (although I personally like the wine itself)

honey

Add a bunch of fruit and some sprite or 7 up and serve it as a sangria

ARE YOU GAY? Stick to cool aid or white zinfandel

Mix in a good Orange Juice, dice some apples and pears to sweeten it up a little bit. It's just like a Sangria.
