do the math. 8 beers to a 12 oz. glass of vodka. 4 beers to 6oz. and so on. About 1 oz. to a shot

Zero.
For Vodka is Vodka, beer is beer.

Ok back to hs math. 5% of 12 equals 0.6 ounces of alcohol and at 40% alcohol you would need 1.5 ounces of vodka to equal 0.6 ounces of alcohol. (.4 + (1/2*.4)=.6)

So roughly a good shot of vodka equals a can of beer.

1 Can of beer is roughly the same as 1 shot of vodka.

1 1/2 oz of vodka = 1 5% beer
