Do you usually take taquila in shots?!

Question:

Do you usually take taquila in shots?

If yes, how many shots does it usually take to get drunk or tipsy?

Answers:
If you are drinking a higher quality Tequila or Mezcal, it seems a shame to smother it with salt and lime juice to mask the taste. Tequila's can be very flavorful, and actually quite good, have you the pallet for it. Otherwise yeah medium grade stuff with training wheels is the only way to go.

What is tAquila???

Only toward the end of the evening to get that extra kick. Usually just one shot, because I normally do not do shots. But when I do, it is only Tequila Gold.

not me! i drink it by the bottle! hell ya!
seriously uhhhhhhhhhhhhh ya!

heckkkkkkkkkzzzzzzzzzz yeahhhhhhhh!!

Only if its something niiiiiiice. Anything lower quality is a good way to prove how tough you are =P
And about the number of shots, that all depends on how quick you drink.

Tequila can be taken in shots or in drinks, if you take it in shots, of course you can get drunk, depending on how much you drink, what you drank before hand, what you ate and your body type. Remember, it takes your body 1 hr to rid its self of 1 oz of liquor and about 2 - 3 drinks to be legally drunk. Use your judgement

Good quality tequila is the only tequila to shoot in a shot - the bad cheap stuff needs to be mixed into a drink to be palatable.

One or two shots can get you drunk/tipsy if you are a lightweight.

Three to four shots is what gets most people in trouble.

Five to six shots gets most people seeing double.

Seven or more, you're on the floor or thrown out the door.

yes, but usually only if i'm already tipsy. otherwise i like tequila mixed. but if i do just take 'em straight, i can get smashed after about 4 or 5

I personally HATE tequilla! Everyone else likes it, but I think it's nasty. Even the expensive kind tastes nasty to me. I think it's because I got crazy drunk once on tequilla a long, long time ago. I have never forgotten how sick I was the next day. I have never been that sick, and I am a regular drinker. I only stick to wine now. You will see... once you're sick from tequilla, you never forget it! Good luck!
