In your opinion what is the best tasting red wine[not dry] out there to buy. I always drink Maria Christina?!

Question: & would like to try something different.

Answers: & would like to try something different.

Riunite Lambrusco
Inexpensive
A "soft" Red wine. Not at all dry. You would love it!

Opus One but VERY expensive! WORTH EVERY PENNY

I second the recommendation of Riunite Lambrusco. It seems not to be sold by other vineyards and is invisible to The Wine Spectator and other such.

Sophisticates will sneer but it's very pleasant and amazingly inexpensive. A great table wine.

I really love two semi-sweet red wines by St. Julian's wineries. One is called "Red Heron" and the other is "Simply Red".....I love almost anything from St. Julians....they are great wines.
