What are "well, wine, domestic" drinks?!

Question: I am not a beer fan....i am going to a place I have never been to this weekend and there is special, $.50 "well, wine, domestic and long neck drinks" I have no idea what "well, wine, domestic" drinks are! And I would much rather pay $.50 for my drinks if I can get away with it! I need help!

Cheap as* alcohol. So, if you order a screwdriver, youre gonna get cheap OJ with cheap vodka, not with top shelp vodka like Gray Goose or something... Basically, just order drinks without naming the alcohol, and you should be fine (ie. rum and coke, not Bacardi and coke. Ammaretto sour, not a Disarrano Ammareto and sour. Got it?) Domestic and long neck refers to beer, and wine - well, thats wine.

Well ,now. Sorry I couldn't resist.

Well drinks are made with low end liquirs. THe cheap stuff. At that price the wine will also be low end. Domestic longnecks will be Bud,Coors Miller Lite, etc. Probably not Sam Adams or microbrews.

Where is this place? Cheap prices.

They are usually the "house" items. Generic liquor and wine. or whatever the place get the best profit price on when purchasing. If they get deals from suppliers on Mondavi wine, that may be the well wine for that place. The beer can be anything from Bud Lite to Pabst Blue Ribbon, just not imported like Warsteiner; all domestic - brewed in the US.

It really all depends on the place.

Indeed, these are low, low prices for alcohol. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Well liquor is is generic brands of alcohol, stuff you'd rather sterilize a wound with than drink. You can bet if a drink is $.50 a pop, they are likely to be watered down some as well, or full of ice.

When you go, buy long necks to avoid the alternatives.

Hope this helps.
