Why do we use the term bladdered for drunk?!

Question:

Why do we use the term bladdered for drunk?

is it because we need to weee all the time lol

Answers:
because your bladder cant take any more

Its something to do with that yes. The term comes from having "had a bladderful" - ie you have drunk so much your bladder is full.

Actually, I've never heard this term before in regards to being drunk, but if you look at the slew of colloquialisms that are used for drunk (including but not limited to hammered, wasted, s**t bagged, loaded, blotto, faded, locked, lit up, etc) I'm truly not surprised that I've never heard it.

I think the correct term is 'Blathered' rather than Bladdered, although Bladdered does explain it better

never used that term....
i always go with plasterd, **** faced, faded, gone, or waterfalled....

waterfalled= term used when person is so intoxicated they actually fall over as they are urinating, landing in their waste.

sadly ive seen someone do it, and he was the joke of the summer....
