Is there any other way to get a cork out of a wine bottle?!
Answers: besides using a cork screw?
"I have resorted to the "push it down into the bottle with a screwdriver or dull knife" method way too many times. But it works in a pinch..."
with this method , please please please filter with a coffee filter and decanter the wine... otherwise the cork will float in the wine - might upset your belly : /
there are other various ways to open a wine bottle but please ... if you are going to use a screwdriver/knife , make sure they are clean when you do use them :)
the easiest way is of course a corkscrew, they're cheap.
i promise
what about one of those wine opening devices?
yes there is
tie a string in knot and pull the cork up.
I have resorted to the "push it down into the bottle with a screwdriver or dull knife" method way too many times. But it works in a pinch...
There is, in fact, another way. You'll need two small (thin is key) flathead screwdrivers. Pound each flathead into the sides of the cork: on the edge of the glass. Once both screwdrivers are in place, squeeze them together and pull. Bingo! I did learn something in college.
I either take a screw driver and push it into the bottle.
or
I find the nearest boat and Christin it.
hiccup ^_^
Vise grips
Just tip it up and suck it out.
shake the bottle up and let it pop on its own
how about slicing bit by bit the cork until you reach the other end.
