1 L Everclear? alcohol
5.25 L (3 1.75L bottles) vodka
1 bottle peach schnapps
1 pint Bacardi? 151 rum
1 bottle 99 Apples? apple schnapps
10 L Sprite? soda
1 L Sunny Delight? orange juice
1 L triple sec
1.75 L bottle gin
1 bottle DeKuyper? Sour Apple Pucker schnapps
4 bottles Boone's Farm? Strawberry Hill wine
8 L Hawaiian Punch?
2 containers orange juice concentrate
fruit (as much as desired)

Use a large container ie. ice chest or similar. Allow the fruit to soak in all the alcohol for about 4 - 12 hours. Add all the juice and let sit overnight. Serve the next day

Jungle juice is pretty wide open.

Anything sweet, kinda fruity and no real alcohol taste but kicks you in the seat of your pants.

Years ago, we would buy a gallon jug of kids punch (red) from the dairy case at the grocery store.

We would pour about a quarter or so of it out. We replaced it with Everclear to taste.

The jug seemed to never go empty as we would just add more Everclear as the night went on. Never got too strong as the more hammered we got, the less we could taste the alcohol.

We all called this concoction "Jungle Juice".

We always have everyone bring a bottle and a fruit with them. Host usually starts the base, which is Everclear and a gallon of Hawaiian punch base, mixed with 50% of the water it calls for.

Host adds a few cans of pinapple rings. As people arrive, they add their liquor, and fruit, mix it up and the drinking begins.

Sloe Gin is usually a good addition, all the clear liquors, Vodka, Gin, Light/Dry Rum. Fruity Schnapps, Puckers and Brandy's are always around.

Spiced things like Spiced rum usually notso good.

Still This method, its differnet everytime, and will usually bleach carpet by the time the night is over.

jungle juice is commonly made at frat parties across the us. i've been to a few of them and would always ask what was in them. basically...they would buy some everclear for the strength. beyond that, it consisted of the remenents of whatever bottles they had left over. the combo of all the different liquors would add to the strength, just as it does with long island iced teas, etc. in essence, it's the goulash of alcoholic drinks!

The first answer is the truest recipe for Jungle juice. If you wait for guest to bring stuff the fruit will not have absorbed the alcohol. That's what kicks the hardest! Watermelon is a must for one of the fruits. It absorbs alcohol big time. At one party all I did was eat watermelon and got big time messed up. That recipe will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $200 - $250 depending on if you have a big enough ice chest or not. The alcohol itself is about $180. Then add the fruit cost which depends on how much fruit you want to add to it. Some suggestions are : Watermelon, Cantaloupe, apples, oranges, Kiwi, Grapes, Strawberries..... Approx. $20-$30 on fruit and then the juice and sprite is approx $20. A suggestion would be to assign a certain liquor to close friends and asked for it a day early that would help on cost alot.
