What is the best cigar?!

Question:

What is the best cigar?

Answers:
It depends on your personal preferences and budget. As with wines, a pricier cigar does not necessarily mean a better cigar, and there are of course too many variables to list here (size of cigar, type of wrapper, geographic origin of wrapper and filler, etc.). You'll most likely have to try several before you find one you really like.

Many say that the Cuban Cohiba is one of the best brands out there. However, for the money I prefer Macanudos and Arturo Fuentes.

Your best bet is to consult with both cigaraficianado.com and your local tobacconist to decide which cigar brand is right for you.

cubans

Marlboro lights

Cubans are overrated. I like a cheap port flavored cigar you can get for a buck. The ones with the flavored plastic filters.

cherry primetimes

Every guy that I know that smokes cigars says Cubans really are the best.

I like the Maker's Mark Cigars.

ACID Kuba Kuba. Made here in Chicago

It's the one you can look at and throw away before you light up.....

It's probably debatable, but I believe there's a list of ratings at cigaraficianado.com... and I might be reaching a little, but I think the highest-rated cigar of all-time was a "Fuente Fuente Opus X".

in the current issue of cigar aficionado the top rated were
Punch double corona
and hoyo de moterrey double corona
both are cubans

but i think it is illegal for any american to purchase any cuban product anywhere.... so you'd have to get a foriegn friend to share one with you

you SMOCK?!
your nuts

Cubans suck.. DR cigars are the best. Try Don Pedro or davidorff

Just dip any cigar into a good cognac

It's all a matter of taste. If you don't like the taste a Cuban Montecristo "A" will not be enjoyed by you. Start off mild a Macanudo is the most popular brand in America. They are very mild. Talk with you friends that smoke cigars and try what they like. But just because they like it does not mean you will. I have been smoking cigars for about 15 years and have grown to like stronger and stronger cigars. If you inhale, which I do not, you would probably like to stick with more mild cigars. My favorites are CAO Brazilias, and non-Cuban Trinidad torpedoes.

fuente's opus x are by far the best cigars. better even than the best cuban monte cristo. pricey but very much worth it.
