Alcohol to water ratio?!

Question: i asked about the tincture but i need to as...i did put the parsley into the vodka..100 proof,,but the water?...where does that come in ...do i put it in after the two weeks or during the 2 weeks...just need to make sure i do it correctly....thanks

I see where you might be confused, I'll clarify for you.
Depending on the amount of Parsley, you cover whatever amount you have with Vodka, if it takes 1C of Vodka to cover the Parsley then you will add 1C of water after you put the Vodka in, it's a 50/50 ratio. Myself, I make it easier, I leave the water out, no chance of messing the recipe up.
