How can you drink red wine with dignity without it turning your lips crimson and your teeth black?!

Question: Just keep drinking. The discoloration will not matter!

Answers: Just keep drinking. The discoloration will not matter!

Have glass of water near by and rinse. I have never had that problem...your lips and teeth must be quite spongy.

Drink some water in between each glass, but also opt for a lighter wine like a Pinot Noir or a Rosè

Teeth black.. man what sort of cheap wine are you drinking!

Use a straw........

It's definatly distracting when talking to someone who has been downing the red wine all night. The red mouth and teeth are not attractive. I find that if I eat some food while drinking the red wine, it cuts down on the "wine lip". If thats not a possibility then I drink water in between glasses and wipe my lips often with a napkin. Lip balm helps too. If its really a problem then I would switch to white wine.
