just put dry ice in bucket of water and the carbon dioxide vapors are visible. experiment around with it and you will get the idea. be careful handling it though, (wear gloves), as it can freeze flesh. dont put it in drinks. happy halloween!

im pretty sure you can drink it. you need to wear gloves whe you touch it and some tongs. bee verry careful though!

Here's some great advice on that interesting stuff.
And NO! You absolutely can NOT eat it!

.

You CANNOT eat it, and DON'T swallow any chunks of it if you put it in your drink.

I've used 10lbs of dry ice, broken in chunks in a 5 gallon milk can, or 5 gallon drink container with 5 lbs of sugar and a bottle of McCormicks root beer syrup/extract to make a great tasting batch of root-beer. You can find this syrup at most grocery stores.

If just need one source of fog, that would be great. Will need a long spoon to stir occaisionally, but can have witches brew with a ladel anytime during the night.

Takes about an hour to carbonate the water, so, an hour into the party, people can start getting rootbeer from it.

You can make sasparilla, cola, or other flavors if that is your preference. Just have to find a beer&Wine supply store to find the other extracts.

Do not ingest the dry ice it's made out of CO2 and not water, in fact avoid prolonged skin contact, because you'll have skin stick to it because it is so cold. Think of it as instant frost bite!

Also, becareful what you put it on. It's best to put it on top of some plastic like a garbage bag to prevent any possible damage to your property.

If you really want to have fun, find out how to make dry ice bombs, but becareful!
