Why does alcohol make you more confident?!

Question:

Why does alcohol make you more confident?

Answers:
because it lowers your inhibitions and if you do something stupid the alcohol can be used as an excuse.

it is false sense of confidence....the first thing that goes when you consume alcohol is your inhabitions....(good decision making skills)

cuz when you have alcohol you start to become drunk lol...therefore you have no idea what the heck you are doing and feel confident...until the next morning when you find out how much of an idiot you were

Alcohol does not actually make you more confident, but it does make white people dance better, ugly people look beautiful and Taco Bell to be a fine cuisine.

Think about it.

IMO
Alcohol doesn't make you more confident it reduces your inhibitions. If you think about it that confidence is already there, you just need to access it without the alcohol. Then enjoy a little drink for the pleasure not the courage. Cheers.

It doesn't even though it feels that way. All that happens is it lowers your inhibitions and impairs your judgement. As a result you'd wind up doing things that you normally would be too scared or smart to do.

Remember, alcohol does not make you do something you would never do, it just gives you the feeling of acting on it.
Yes, they can be stupid, but can you truly say you did something while drunk that you have never thought about before? I know I can't I'm not saying we're not stupid when drunk, I'm just saying that you don't do anything you would NEVER do, only things you never had the courage to do before.

yes, it does...and it also makes people stupid.

Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.

It doesn't, only stupider.
