Does anyone know where I could buy Austrian beer?!
Answers: I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan but travel to Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota a lot. Any ideas on where I could buy some Austrian beer (Ottakringer or G?sser or Egger)?
Like the previous poster indicated Bev Mo will have it, or if not they can more than likely order it for you if there's enough of a demand. However, I've traveled Michigan (lower), Minnesota and Wisconsin, and I don't recall seeing a Bev Mo there. You may want to see if there's something simillar to Bev Mo. For those of you who don't know Bev Mo it is basically a store that specializes in alcoholic beverages or related to alcoholic beverages. I love that place!
Then I suggest trying doing an internet search for the beers you like. Hopefully, your favorite beer will have a web page (possibily on-line ordering). If not, then I would email them to see if there is a distributor(s) in your area, then contact that distributor to see which stores they sell out of. Good luck.
Also, I see Gosser is on your list, I've seen that here i SoCal in some of the regular markets, so it may not be that rare.
Try Bev-Mo if there is one around there. They usually have lots of variety.
