Am i an Alchololic?!
Am i an Alchololic?
I drink about 5 bottles of Smirnoff every day, one at breakfast, two at lunch, one at dinner and one by my bed side in case I feel thirsty at night. One bottle of Guinness to help me improve performance when my girl comes around. One bottle of Heineken to help dilute the taste of the Smirnoff. Some times I do find it hard to sleep so I take like a gulp of baileys Irish cream. I really don’t have friends to compare myself to so am I the average consumer or the low consumer or the high consumer

yes, you are an alcoholic.
the fact that you are asking this questions shows a lot of courage. good luck to you.
I would have to say...YES!! Anyone who has to have a drink at breakfast....ummm nuff said...seek out your nearest AA meeting....quick...not normal..
Your an alcoholic. Check yourself in to AA.
You are in the extremely high area- I would suggest cutting back- thats a lot of booze and the fact that you drink all day- how is that even possible?
no the alcohol is a humanolic. It needs help. Not you.
Geez just screwing around here.
big thumbs down huh?
I ahve a friend who died of alcoholism at the age of 34 that didn't drink as much as you. Better do something quick. Good luck.
f u really concumed that much alcohol u wouldnt be able to type what u typed . Oh, by the way, you would be DEAD!!
duh
This sounds like a joke. Full sized bottles of Smirnoff? That much alcohol would likely kill you. If not a joke, you might want to skip AA and go straight to the hospital to get yourself checked out. You KNOW you are an alcoholic already. That is really why you wrote this... provided you are not just being funny.
Well there is an old saying....Drunks drink all day and alcoholics go to meetings. It sounds like you are a drunk. Go to some meetings so then you can be an alcoholic and begin making your life better. Drinking all day is not good for you or the people that love you. Sounds like you need some friends too. Come on man changing your life can be fun!
Yep, I'd say you qualify. In fact, poster-child comes to mind.
Yikes.... I'd say yes......
but, if it doesn't stop your everyday performance...
Such as skipping work to drink or other important things..
However, nothings wrong with a few sips or bottles every once in awhile....
maybe a sip here and thier throughout the day but not a whole bottle...
at least your seeing if it's a problem...
Just try not to drink as much b/c your liver needs to filter out all that alcohol and your not giving time....
If you want to go every morning to dialysis...
go ahead
Do you find the disease alcoholism to be a joke? Let me guess- you probably kick small animals, make fun of disabled people and never hold the door open for ladies or the elderly.
Your humor escapes me and I find you offensive, and quite honestly boring and cliche.
Good luck on the unemployment line.......brain dead moron.
You are an alcoholic, especially if you can't go one day without drinking. Oh, yeah, that Guinness is not helping your 'performance'; it's just lowering any inhibitions you may have. Consider this your online intervention: lay off the booze. Ask yourself, Why do I feel the need to drink every day, all day? Am I hiding from life? Is there an underlying illness I'm trying to self-medicate? Run, don't stagger, to Alcoholics Anonymous now. Form a healthy circle of friends full of people who don't drink. As always, eat healthfully, exercise, fill your mind with intelligence and spirit, and treat others with kindness, dignity, and respect. Oh, by the way, I almost drank myself to death three times before I found out I was trying to self-medicate my anxiety and agoraphobia. I am now properly medicated, and now I have no 'need' to live in a cocktail glass.
I'm just going to have to assume that the 5 bottles of Smirnoff you have a day are the wine coolers that Smirnoff puts outs, other wise I think you would be asking this question from the grave. If you have to ask if you're an alcoholic then there's your answer. Good Luck
If you start drinking during breakfast, you might have a little problem. It doesn't sound like you're a raging alcoholic, but you sound like you have a problem none the less.
Yes... sounds like it. Also, whenever you have to ask - that is usually an automatic sign that you are.
That's not normal. I am curious how can you drink all day...do you have a job? School? You should try scaling back. Put a glass of water beside your bed instead of alcohol. Water is better for you. Go to a doctor for your performance issues. Studies have shown that alcohol does not help you sleep. I do think you should seek professional help. You are turning to alcohol for so many issues in your life. You said you don't have friends, so find a hobby to consume your time because you may have too much time on your hand. Maybe through a hobby you will meet people.
If you did drink that much, you would be an alcoholic. But you are a troll.
Sounds like you need to make some friends, they are straight with you and should tell you if they are concerned about your drinking. It sounds like you drink equivalent to 7 beers and a shot in a day. If it were only on the weekend that would be one thing but everyday then yes it could be a problem. Good Luck
OK I thought you were saying you drink 5 bottles of vodka a day. Ya your an alcoholic, I average a case of bud a day, I consider myself a drunk alcoholic's go to meeting's. Drink up.
I wouldn't say you're an alcoholic, I wouldn't even call you a drunk. I think I'd classify you as a person seeking attention. Someone so lonely and pathetic that you would waste your time making up such a ridiculous story. Grow up and frind something better to do with your time.
Without a doubt.
Here's the sign that SHOULD have told my father he was an alcoholic. He always drank 5 shots of vodka while going out to get the paper, drank another 5 when my mom left for work, about 2-3 bottles of wine. But the funny thing, one day when he was working on his second bottle of wine, he hopped on the internet and started looking up SIGNS OF ALCOHOLISM, and decided that it wasn't him. Hmmmm.
My advice, if you have to ask, seek treatment.
You need help.
Dude, go get some help.
maybe you could try alcoholics anonymous
It's a program where alcoholics can get help
