How to make Jello Shots?!
Answers: I am making jello shots for my halloween party on friday. First how do you make them? What flavors have you heard or tried are the best? What kind of liquor? How long does it take to make and last how much would you charge for one?
Follow the jello directions except only use 1 cup of boiling water and then add 1 cup of liquor. I used to use Rasberi Stoli and rasberry strawberry or cherry jello. What I would do is buy the little dixie cups or the little plastic cups put them on a cookie sheet and pour the jello (after you have poured the boiling water, liquor and jello and stired it up) into the cups and put in the refrigerator over night. They are so yummy!! You can use more or less liquor. 1 cup is usually best not too strong! 1st time I made it I tried to boil the liquor! duh! Used to charge $2.00 for them when I was a bartender.
1 package jell-o
1 cup boiling water
1 cup Malibu coconut rum
Warning: do not try to add extra liquor, otherwise they won't set up properly!
vodka and the blueberry jello
It take 2 to five hours to set.
1 package watermelon jell-o
1 cup boiling water
1 cup Malibu? coconut rum
Mix hot water and jello. Add rum. Pour into 2 ounce cups. Serve after the jello has set.
--Jello Shots Recipes
Ingredients:
6 ounces vodka
6 ounces water
3 ounces Jello gelatin, any flavor
Directions:
Combine vodka and water in a saucepan and bring to boil. Stir in Jello. Let set in refrigerator. Experiment to choose the length of time you want it to set. Longer = firmer.
1 small Berry Blue Jell-O gelatin
1 cup Boiling water
1/2 cup Cold water
1/2 cup Strawberry Schnapps
Directions:
Mix as directed on box, using schnapps with the cold water. Pour into small paper cups or into a pan and refrigerate. If using pan method, cut into squares to serve.
Jello shots are simple to make and do their job exceptionally well. The only other trick to them is using different alcohols and jello flavors to create new tastes.
I didnt know how to make them before but I do now....Soo thanks for asking...hehe...
