White Sangria?!

Question:

White Sangria?

Does anyone know of any good white sangria? I have had the red and it's not bad but I thought I would try white. Also does anyone have any good recipes for a sangria punch?

Answers:
white sangria is my favorite. I worked in a Spanish restaurant for 8 years, and tried/tested all different kinds. I use white wine of course and you can add any kind of fruit you like. To sweeten it we usually used a simple syrup(sugar water), but i like an extra kick so i use a sweet spumante wine like Ballatore, or Martini and Rossi. My tropical recipe has fresh pineapple, strawberries and kiwi--very colorful and tasty!(also use them to garnish each glass)You can add any fruit you like--whatever your in the mood for--mango mmmmmmmm. Also try adding a shot or two (to each pitcher )of Midori Melon liquor, or Chambord, or flavored schnapps, or brandy like cherry or apricot--whatever your in the mood for! But try the asti spumante to sweeten it--its great! Have fun!

I'm sure Arbor Mist has a good white sangria, they have every other kind

Strawberry White Wine Sangria
Serving Size : 8

I like to prepare this drink the night before a big party or special occasion so the flavors have plenty of time to marry. After you've poured the last drop of sangria, reserve the wine-soaked strawberries and serve them with fresh whipped cream for dessert. Two treats from one recipe!

2 pints fresh strawberries, washed and stemmed
2 750 ml. bottles dry white wine, chilled
1/2 cup sugar
3 cups soda water, chilled

Combine strawberries, wine and sugar and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate mixture overnight. When ready to serve, add soda water to strawberry mixture and pour into ice-filled glasses.

I made this at Christmas for my sister's party and it was a big hit:

And I am unsure what you mean by "Sangria Punch"....Sangria in itself is a type of punch.

1/2 to 1/4 sugar
1/2 cup Real-lemon lemon juice
1/4 cup Real-lime lime juice
1 (750 ml) bottle of Sauternes, chilled
1/4 cup orange flavored liqueur
1 (32 oz) bottle club soda, chilled
Oranges, Nectarines (sliced and chilled)
Green grapes (frozen)
Combine sugar and juices till dissolved.
and Sauternes liqueur. Just before serving add club soda and fruit and ice.
Sit back and enjoy.
