I don't know if you mean the actual fairy, "La Fee Verde", but absinthe sure is. I bought a bottle from this site : http://www.lafeeabsinthe.com/ and it turned out pretty good. You will need some sugar cubes, an absinthe spoon (a fork will work as well) and something to light it with. It's the wormwood in the absinthe that gives it it's unusual properties. It is best taken with your favorite herbs (hint); they work synergistically with the beverage. Due to a legal loophole, absinthe cannot be sold in the US but it is legal to buy online. Be forewarned; it is not cheap. My bottle cost almost $200 US. I am glad to have tried it and it gives me an incentive to go to Czechoslavakia.

The Green Fairy is a term used to the hallucinogenic effects of drinking Absinthe. Absinthe contains wormwood, which is a known hallucinogen. Until just a few years ago,Absinthe was banned in the US because of this. Absinthe itself is pretty nasty tasting, and to drink it it usually has sugar and distilled (preferably) water added. Be careful, because Absinthein large quantities can cause blindness and severe stomach problems.

Basinthe in it's true form cannot cause blindness. try Czech Strong Absinthe. very strong, pretty tasty, order it online via the case. It's illegal, but so is anal sex in 17 states, and that still goes on unchecked by the gov as does this.

Are you thinking of Absinthe? I don't know where you can find it because its illegal in the U.S and the majority of other countries.
