Answers:
Pampered Chef has a garlic press where you put the cloves in, skin and all. The garlic is pressed through and the skin remains behind.
It does ginger as well.

DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE exact one .but if you google garlic peeler there are many results that come up.

How much garlic do you use? Unless you're working on a restaurant level, it's not that hard to cut the ends off and peel. Not really a time saving device, but it is a space consuming device. I opt for less gadgets, and more space.

(this place is just north of where i grew up, it has alot of great stuff. most highly recommended is the pepper plant hot sauce.)

you could also use one of those grippy jar openers (if you have one), or just a quick smack with the flat part of the blade of a knife.

well normaly you can find them at most foodapplience stores. But to me it sounds like you are having a pretty hard time finding it . so i found mine at a local hardware store try looking in the places you would least expect to find it

To peel them, use the flat side of a knife, and mash the clove. The peel just slips off and then the end(s) can be cut easily.

If you eat a lot of garlic you can go to any super market and buy a jar of whole peeled garlic for about $3.00. Its very inexpensive and saves a lot of time.

You know the new silicone cookware that's out? Well there's a really cool garlic peeler that they make that you can find at any cooking store (William Sonoma, etc). This garlic peeler is a silicone tube and you cut the end off the garlic clove, put it in the tube and roll it on the counter while putting pressure on it. It takes the skin off the garlic and all you have to do is throw away the peel and chop the garlic. You can usually find this tool at an cooking supply store or in the cooking section of most stores. Happy Garlic Peeling!

nuke it then it just slips off

You might try Kmart. They carry Martha Stewart brand products.

All the chefs use a chopping knife, place it on its side and give the garlic clove a good hard whack. What it does is release the flavor in the garlic and the skin comes right off.
