It's full of gas. Also, when you swallow it you are probably taking a load of air down as well so of course you are gonna fart a lot. Beans also seem to have that effect too :p

because of all the fizz and gas thats in there.
All those tiny little bubbles gang up in your stomach into one huge bubble and this explodes as lots of huge, noisy farts. That's science.
