Where can I buy a bottle of "Midleton Very Rare" Irish Whisky in Raleigh NC?!
Answers: I am flying in Friday and want to give it as a gift to a good friend. I don't really know Raleigh liquor stores or will have much time to shop.
Only state operated ABC stores are allowed to sell liqour in NC, so you are limited to what they stock. Some stores do keep more and better stock available though.
The Cameron Village ABC store is one of the better ones. (Located in the Cameron Village shopping center on Oberlin Rd two block north of Hillsborough St.)

Yup, in North Carolina, all liquor stores are run by the state/county. Look for the ABC store (Alcoholic Beverage Control) nearest you.
