Does anyone have an easy step by step recipe for making mead?
I′ve looked some recipes up, but have trouble with "hops" and "bungs" and other parapharnalia I have no idea about. Simple english please?

Find a brew store. They have all the ingredients and will help you. Look in the yellow pages or on yahoo yellow pages in your area. You will find it easy and cheap to make. Good luck.
Hops are rarely used in mead. They are a bitter herb that is used in the process of making beer (gives beer that bitter flavor)
As far as bung, I have never heard of it, and I have made mead for years.
Mead is pretty difficult to make because the initial fermentation process is hard to get started. I'd start with a homemade wine first.
