If the recipe on the box calls for 2 cups of boiling water, use one cup. Put the jello in the bowl & add boiling water. Stir till dissolved, let it cool off a bit, then add 1 cup good (not cheap) vodka, rum or tequila.( And by good tequila, I don't mean Jose Quervo. It needs to be a tequila that has no agave taste, like Patron.) Stir to mix well, then pour into 2-3 ounce portion cups that have been set up on a tray. It's handy to put lids on the portion cups; it keeps things out & you might want to take them to a party! Refrigerate till set, usually about 2 hours. It's nice to have a variety of flavors; watermelon, cherry and berry are good with rum & vodka, lime works well with the tequila. Have fun & slurp responsibly.

Monkey Biz Lounge

half h2o and half what ever

3 packages of Jello containing sugar
2 1/2 cups vodka
3 1/3 cups water

Bring the water to a boil and remove from heat. Slowly stir in the Jello until dissolved. Wait 3 minutes, then stir in the vodka.
Pour into individual shot-size cups and freeze.

Yes, get your favorite flavor of Jello, and a neutral tasting liquor, like vodka or everclear.
Most people use the small cups like the ones you put ketchup in at a fast food joint or small plastic ones restaurants use for sauces or salsa. You can also make them in a pan and cut them into squares.
You make the Jello as the recipe calls for, but you use 1/2 water and 1/2 liquor instead of just straight water.
One cup is a measurement equal to 8 fluid ounces. I'm not sure how else to explain that.

Hopefully we are all adults here but I would hate to think 11 or 12 year olds are learning from your answerers.
That would be an abuse of guidelines.

this is easy and no one taught me.
using the home made jell-o use standard amout of water for heating up the jell-o, trade out the cold water for cold liquer of your choice (thing is it should go with the jell-o) let chill for the same amount of time.
fair warning if you use liquer for heating up you will cook out some of the alchol. also it will still have a kick. so enjoy and EAT UP.
