Answers:
Wine is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermentation of unmodified grape juice. The natural chemical balance of grapes is such that they ferment completely without the addition of sugars, acids, enzymes or other nutrients. Although other fruits like apples and berries can also be fermented, the resultant "wines" are normally named after the fruit (for example, apple wine or elderberry wine) and are generically known as fruit or country wine. Others, such as barley wine and rice wine (e.g. sake) are made from starch-based materials and resemble beer more than wine, while ginger wine is fortified with brandy. In these cases, the use of the term "wine" is a reference to the higher alcohol content, rather than production process.
A distilled beverage is a liquid preparation meant for consumption containing ethyl alcohol (ethanol) purified by distillation from a fermented substance such as fruit, vegetables, or grain. The word spirits generally refers to distilled beverages low in sugars and containing at least 35% alcohol by volume. Baijiu, Gin, Ginger Wine, vodka, rum, whisky (or whiskey), brandy, absinthe, tequila, and traditional German schnapps are types of spirits. Distilled beverages with added flavorings and a relatively high sugar content such as Grand Marnier, Frangelico and American style schnapps are generally referred to as liqueurs. The term liquor may mean spirits; spirits and liqueurs; or all alcoholic beverages, including wine, sake, beer, and mead.
Beer is the world's oldest and most popular alcoholic beverage. It is produced by the fermentation of sugars derived from starch-based material―the most common being malted barley; however wheat, corn and rice are also widely used, usually in conjunction with the barley. Less widely used starch sources include cassava root in Africa, potato in Brazil, and agave in Mexico.
Hennessy V.S.O.P and Jack Daniel's are different. One is a cognac, the other is an American Whisky. So its like asking if oranges are better than apples. It depends on individual preferences.

Although all are fermented drinks, they differ because of what they are made of. Wine is from grapes and other fruits, like cherries, apples, and I have even had rose wine. Beer is from wheat; vodka is from potatoes; moonshine is from corn.
I'd probably go with hennessy if it were a question between the two. Otherwise... nothing beats a nice, cold beer. Try Smithwicks, an ale made by Guinness. My wife got some for me today... mmmm
The Alcohol content in the three is different . liquor is made different, than beer and wine. Jack Daniels goes better with beer, but a good beer is always the best.
The wonderful world of spirits. Since the beginning of times alcohol has been used to celebrate and have a good time. Gosh If I only had a bottle of the special Jesus Christ Wine. I always wondered what he made. Was it a Merlot? Or perhaps a zinfandel?? Anyways I'm getting a bit off track here. Wine is made from different grape variations ie: merlot, cabernet sauvignon, zinfandel, and so on... Different regions of the world produce the best grape for certain types of wine, like Chile has a good merlot grape as Italy has a great sangiovese grape for its Chianti. Also wine has to be aged for at least a couple of years. Wines alcohol content is usually 11% - 15%. Beer is made from mostly grains such as, oats, barley, and wheat. With the popularity of micro brews making smaller batches with higher quality ingredients, the variety of flavored beers has also risen in the states. Now there are liqueurs and liquors. Liqueurs are your peppermint snapps, jagermeister, triple sec, kaluha, and so on. Usually at least 20% sugar by volume. Liquor is the hard stuff like vodka, gin, tequila, rum, whiskey, and scotch. Just explaining the different types of whiskey can take 2000 words so I will keep it simple. Tequila comes from the blue agave plant, gin from juniper berries, rum from sugar canes, vodka from potatoes, and whiskey from grains, wheat, and rye. Scotch is the same as whiskey but from SCOTLAND...and of course different styles of distillation and filtering and all that stuff. Hope this helps
As long as you get a good buzz who Care's. And which is better that's a personal chose, I prefer the beer buzz.
Wine and beer are fermented, wine from fruit and beer primarily from grain -- usually malted barely. Liquor is distilled from a fermented mash. Wine will usually have an alcohol content of about 12% by volume; beer will usually have an alcohol content of about 5% by volume; liquor will have an alochol content normally from about 40% to 50% although the range can run from 15% up to 90%. When you see a "proof" number on a bottle of hard liquor, such as 86 proof, the alcohol content is half that number. 86 proof whiskey is 43% alcohol by volume.
As for your second question, I find most cognac's that are graded VSOP or lower to be a bit harsh, although there are some VSOP's that are quite good. From Hennesy, I prefer their X.O. cognac. So, I would take the Jack Daniels.
Liqour is distilled. not fermented.
